I really loved White Tent and I was very exciting to see the first time that the duo of designs showed their collection in the main stage of the Lisboa Fashion Week and they worked well. I loved their proposals mainly the oversized jerseys and the fluid silhouette worked trought the designers' interpretation of the trench-coat. But the star piece was the cropped trousers and their details such as the exposed pockets, entwined panels and multiple layers which gave a casual urban look.
Aprecio bastante os White Tent desde os seus desfiles LAB no palco alternativo da ModaLisboa, e estou muito curiosa para ver a sua primeira collecção a apresentar no palco principal da Semana da Moda de Lisboa. Adorei as propostas do duo de criadores Portugueses, sobretudo a sua silhueta fluída trabalhada através da interpretação desconstrutiva do clássico trench-coat. Mas, para mim as peças star para além das calças e calções, são as malhas oversized. Adorei os detalhes irreverentes como os bolsos expostos, painéis entrelaçados e múltiplas camadas resultando num look urbano e casual.
I LOOOOOVEEEED WHITE TENT KNITWEAR....
White Tent gave us a very young urban collection with great outerwear in a soft pallette of pearl, blue, brown, gray and white with hints of bright red and black. The chosen materials gave an organic drape to the structures and it was a part of White Tent's signature - the emphasis on the choice of materials such as washed summer wool, cotton, cottonyarn for knitwear ( which I loved!!!!), jerseys which give to the pieces a comfortable feel. For the younger urbans who loved to be elegant with wearable pieces but with hints of irreverence.
White Tent trouxe-nos, assim, uma colecção jovem e urbana com boas propostas de roupa exterior numa paleta de cores soft como o pérola, azul, castanho, cinza e branco com apontamentos de vermelho e preto. A escolha de materiais conferiram um drapeado orgânico às estruturas e faz parte da assinatura do White Tent - a enfâse na escolha de materiais como a lã de Verão lavada, o algodão, fios de algodão encerado, as malhas tricotadas... de que aliás gostei bastante, os jerseys... que conferem às peças um toque muito confortável.
A foot note to the amazing acessories in fine slouchy leather which complement very well the nonchalant look.
Uma nota final para os fantásticos acessórios em couro que complementam o estilo despojado da colecção.
