Medal Count Vancouver 2010


Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Medal Count: US leads with 18

The Americans are back on top in the medal count race in the Winter Olympics 2010. The United States now has 18 medals with 6 gold, 5 silver, and 7 bronze. Germany is now on the second spot with 11 medals (4 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze). In third spot is Norway with 8 medals (3 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze). Host nation Canada shares fourth place with France. Canada has 3 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze. France has 2 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze.

Korea and Austria on the sixth place with 5 medals each. Korea has 3 gold and 2 silver. Austria has 1 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze. For the United States: Evan Lysacek won the gold medal in Men’s Figure Skating. Shaun White won the gold medal in Men’s Halfpipe Snowboard. Shani Davis picked up the gold medal in Men’s 1000m SpeedSkating. Lindsey Vonn won the gold medal in Ladies’ Downhill Alpine Skiing. Seth Wescott picked up the gold medal Men’s SnowBoard Cross. Hannah Kearney won the gold medal in Ladies’ Moguls FreeStyle Skiing.
